TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Fintech): Building and maintaining large-scale systems that power core financial platforms with an accent on reliability, observability, and fault-tolerant architecture. Focus on designing scalable infrastructure, leading incident response, and driving operational excellence for mission-critical services.

Location: Must be based in Menlo Park, CA with in-person attendance expected at least three days per week.

Salary: $161,637–$230,000 per year

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain large-scale systems powering core services and infrastructure.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive reliability improvements.
  • Develop frameworks to measure and enhance system scalability and performance.
  • Mentor teammates and promote best practices in operational excellence and resilience.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure mission-critical system uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to execute strategic technical initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or related roles.
  • Proven experience with large-scale incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Deep understanding of system reliability principles, observability, and fault-tolerant design.
  • Experience designing frameworks for system scalability and performance optimization.
  • Must be able to work from the Menlo Park office at least 3 days per week.
