What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and integration of emission, EV, and energy control strategies across vehicle programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and resolve system integration issues.
• Perform PLC code generation and troubleshooting for industrial control equipment.
• Conduct testing, calibration, and validation of control systems in collaboration with equipment suppliers.
• Maintain documentation for control system specifications, design, and testing procedures.
• Provide controls subject matter expertise to project managers and respond to daily equipment issues in the laboratory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial controls.
• Hands-on experience with PLC code generation (Allen Bradley) and HMI (Siemens) troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Logix 5000.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial controls.
