Senior Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Design and implement IT processes and improvements for complex problems and projects.
• Administer infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
• Provide technical administrative and configuration support across Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware Virtual Infrastructure, Linux, and application delivery.
• Support infrastructure hardware, software, and firmware, including storage systems.
• Resolve advanced server and client software issues and lead complex IT tasks; may lead small projects.
• Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call support rotation and present work output clearly.

Requirements

• 6 years of professional IT & IS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
• Expert knowledge of how current trends and technology support business partners.
• Comprehensive knowledge of server hardware components and their interactions with operating systems, network elements, and data storage in an x86/x64 environment.
• Experience administering enterprise data protection and endpoint protection; familiarity with Azure AD and AWS EC2.
• Ability to work a standard M–F 8–5 schedule with flexibility for rotating 24x7 on-call support.
