What you will do

• Conduct literature reviews across medical imaging, genomics, and drug analysis to evaluate ML applications and define data collection, model architecture, and training strategies.
• Design and develop ML models for medical imaging, bioinformatics (including single-cell and spatial omics), and drug development.
• Analyze cancer tissue images and protein-ligand binding affinity using advanced ML approaches such as Alphafold3 and foundation models for image processing.
• Modify and tune existing programming modules to integrate with an image management platform and enable execution of in-house AI models on imaging data.
• Analyze ML outputs, document findings, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• At least 1 year of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Intermediate algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Ability to work independently within defined guidelines while setting priorities and completing tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital pathology and/or genomics and/or drug development.
• Basic computer vision and image processing techniques.
• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Singularity).
• Experience with Agile development.
