What you will do

• Design and operate core AI platform components for training, deploying, and serving ML models.
• Own end-to-end model serving workflows, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Optimize inference systems for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency across CPU and GPU workloads.
• Manage GPU-based inference and training, including capacity planning and resource optimization.
• Implement observability practices to improve the resilience of ML services and pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to enable scalable AI-powered features.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 4–6 years of relevant industry experience in production ML systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python for ML systems and distributed data processing.
• Proven experience deploying and operating ML workloads in cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of model serving architectures, inference pipelines, and performance tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience with GPU-based workloads and accelerated computing.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for reliable ML system deployment.

Nice to have

• Experience with inference optimization strategies like quantization, batching, or compilation.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing observability systems for distributed services.
• Exposure to privacy-preserving ML techniques or responsible AI design.
