Salary: $120,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Deploy and maintain platform services across multiple clouds and regions using Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for infrastructure changes.
• Develop self-service APIs and control planes to enable engineering teams.
• Manage capacity planning, cost optimization, and system observability.
• Lead on-call rotations, incident response, and postmortem automation.
• Harden security through encryption, secret management, and network policies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience running stateful distributed systems on Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane).
• Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Strong observability skills using Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing.
• Must be able to work in the Sunnyvale office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Go.
• Experience with service mesh tools like Istio or Linkerd.
• Background in cybersecurity or high-availability SaaS environments.
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms like Temporal.
