What you will do

• Define and operate against SLIs/SLOs to influence product and engineering prioritization.
• Build and maintain the observability layer, including metrics, logs, and distributed tracing.
• Lead incident response and conduct blameless postmortems to drive durable system improvements.
• Reduce operational toil through automation, self-healing systems, and improved tooling.
• Perform production hardening, including stress testing and capacity planning for high-traffic scenarios.
• Improve release safety through progressive delivery, feature flags, and canary deployments.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to Miami, USA.
• Significant experience owning production services and managing them under real load.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and API design.
• Hands-on experience with observability tooling and diagnosing complex production issues.
• Proficiency in modern cloud environments (AWS/GCP), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in mentoring engineers and influencing architecture.
