What you will do

• Edit and refine Chinese-localized content to ensure accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.
• Create and maintain localization resources including glossaries, style guides, and terminology databases.
• Serve as the linguistic quality owner for terminology and stylistic conventions.
• Collaborate with narrative, design, audio, and QA teams throughout the localization process.
• Provide feedback on character voice, dialogue flow, and overall player-facing quality.
• Support linguistic QA, including bug triage and implementation review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in translation, editing, or writing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in game development, localization, or QA.
• Native-level proficiency in Chinese with deep understanding of grammar, tone, and cultural nuance.
• Strong attention to detail and editorial judgment.
• Ability to adapt writing style across narrative, UI, and gameplay systems.

Nice to have

• Experience working on live-service or multiplayer games.
• Familiarity with CAT tools and localization pipelines.
