What you will do

• Own the localization strategy, quality bar, and final sign-off for all French content across hirify.global titles.
• Review and edit in-game text, UI, scripts, and VO for tone, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Develop and enforce glossaries, style guides, and cultural content policies for the French market.
• Collaborate with localization producers, LQA, marketing, and development teams to guide language decisions.
• Lead VO casting, script review, and direct creative sessions during French voiceover production.
• Serve as the primary linguistic escalation point for French-related bugs and tone disputes.

Requirements

• Professional localization experience in games, tech, or entertainment.
• Native fluency in French with mastery of regional nuance and grammar.
• Advanced English fluency (C1+) to represent language decisions across global teams.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex language projects.
• Strong knowledge of platform-holder guidelines and brand alignment principles.
• Must be able to work onsite in Madrid, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with VO scripting, dubbing production, and linguistic performance direction.
• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, media, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CAT tools, translation memory systems, XLOC, JIRA, and CMS.
