What you will do

• Supervise and deliver key packages of cabling construction projects, supporting the project manager.
• Assist in producing construction plans and coordinate the engineering support team.
• Procure construction materials and specialist subcontracts for successful project delivery.
• Ensure on-site technical solutions meet engineering requirements and management systems.
• Manage street works permits and coordinate delivery in line with cost, schedule, and change.
• Lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement across SHESQ within projects.

Requirements

• Minimum ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma/apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
• Substantial experience managing sites and field-based staff on cable or substation projects, including underground cabling works.
• Technical expertise in civil, cable and/or electrical aspects of cabling projects.
• Essential experience in cable installation, jointing, and testing requirements.
• Previous experience working for distribution network operators and coordinating delivery without compromising SHEQ standards.
• Right to Work in the UK and Full UK Driving License.
