What you will do

• Pitch, write, edit, and update articles, recipes, and newsletters across digital and print platforms.
• Shepherd content through its full lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and alignment with editorial calendars.
• Leverage data tools like Google Trends and KW Finder to ideate and optimize content for search.
• Collaborate across departments including Art, Photo, Test Kitchen, and Audience Development.
• Assist with project management for long-lead columns, packages, and stories.
• Contribute to video, social media, and special events as assigned.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in journalism, writing, or food media.
• Strong editorial judgment with excellent writing and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with digital CMS platforms and project management tools like AirTable.
• Deep culinary knowledge and familiarity with food trends and online culture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work onsite in New York, NY.
