What you will do

• Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges in grid protection and control.
• Create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables using CAD and BIM tools.
• Provide oversight, training, and consultation to other engineering technicians to ensure quality and consistency.
• Review design inputs and ensure deliverables comply with applicable codes and project standards.
• Manage drawing control and maintain historical project records.
• Coordinate with design groups and support field activities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 11 years of related work experience.
• Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology required.
• Proficiency in digital design tools such as CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling.
• Ability to interpret complex design inputs and exercise sound technical judgment.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks and drug screens.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
