Supplier Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Manage new suppliers on the QM side: participate in supplier selection, evaluate and categorize supplier self-assessments, audit new suppliers, and update the approved suppliers list.
• Manage existing suppliers on the QM side: evaluate suppliers for the quality factor and audit them with follow-up of the audit process.
• Support incoming goods inspection planning: create reference samples, define inspection plans and assign products to plans, create general material group specifications with R&D, and perform initial sampling.
• Handle procurement defect notifications: process complaints about defective purchased parts and request/evaluate corrective and remedial actions.
• Actively participate in synchronization and NGS process measures and in the innovation process.
• Ensure strict compliance with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations and implement instructions from quality/environmental and occupational safety officers.

Requirements

• Experience with supplier quality management, including supplier evaluations and auditing.
• Knowledge of incoming goods inspection planning, sampling, and reference sample creation.
• Ability to process defect complaints and evaluate corrective and remedial actions.
• Experience participating in internal audit activities.
• Strong understanding of quality, occupational safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
