What you will do

• Analyze and understand the workflows of platform engineers and infrastructure consumers to identify pain points.
• Develop software patterns and archetypes that enable rapid iteration within the company's software ecosystem.
• Build tools, services, and configurations to ensure a low-friction experience when shipping new capabilities.
• Consult with internal users and platform teams to bring clarity and alignment to technical requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers to implement a product-oriented approach to platform engineering.
• Participate in group-level planning to prioritize the needs of infrastructure consumers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes, specifically including Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• Solid experience working with AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with AI tooling for software engineering, such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Based in Australia to utilize campus locations and hybrid balance.
