What you will do

• Procure and plan raw materials, components, and services to meet production requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and purchase order accuracy.
• Develop and maintain strong functional relationships with suppliers.
• Collaborate with production, accounting, and receiving teams to resolve shortages and delivery issues.
• Implement and maintain Kanban systems for material flow.
• Track cost analysis and supplier performance through detailed reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based on-site in Blauvelt, NY
• 1+ year of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or materials management.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in computer systems and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as a condition of employment.
