What you will do

• Lead the development of new features and enhancements for Ruby on Rails-based APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to build scalable and robust systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Ruby and Rails.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and GraphQL.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization.
• Experience with testing frameworks like RSpec or Minitest.
• Knowledge of background job processing (Sidekiq, Amazon SQS).
