Supplier Quality Engineer (Medical Technology)

Location: San Daniele del Friuli, Friuli Venezia-Giulia, Italy; onsite role with short-term travel within Italy and abroad.

What you will do

• Create and maintain Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, quality conditions, and procurement specifications.
• Manage quality records, supplier qualification, surveillance, audits, and initial sampling activities.
• Analyze supplier quality KPIs, nonconformity trends, and root causes.
• Support suppliers in implementing corrective and improvement plans following audits, product nonconformities, and SCARs.
• Evaluate supplier process validation strategies and records with Process Validation, R&D, and Technical teams.
• Collaborate with Suppliers, R&D, Purchasing, Post Marketing Surveillance, Incoming Inspection, Regulatory, and certification bodies on quality and compliance topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Management, Biomedical, or Bioengineering.
• Previous supplier quality assurance experience in a modern manufacturing environment.
• Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work precisely, methodically, and effectively across multiple tasks in a team.
• Written and spoken English at least at B2 level.
• Basic written and spoken German.

Nice to have

• Lead Auditor qualification accredited by AICQ-CEPAS or AICQ-SICEV.
