What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of technical challenges from requirement gathering to production shipping.
• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable software solutions meeting client requirements.
• Enhance and evolve existing systems to improve functionality and performance.
• Ensure software deliverables are compatible across multiple platforms and environments.
• Collaborate on architecture and database design to steer technical direction.
• Monitor and iterate on system improvements post-deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience designing and querying relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proven track record with CI/CD practices and writing secure, maintainable code.
• Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship or permanent residency status).

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of data warehousing or large-scale data systems.
• Background or interest in application security best practices.
