What you will do

• Develop and maintain validation infrastructure for comprehensive SoC testing.
• Plan, execute, and debug functional tests in bare-metal and OS-based environments.
• Bring up and debug the Linux kernel on emulation and silicon platforms.
• Identify and isolate SoC design issues through low-level software and system analysis.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and product engineering teams to root cause failures.
• Create detailed validation test plans based on SoC architecture and IP specifications.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in embedded SW and Linux kernel/driver programming.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in C programming, including makefiles, compiler flags, and linker scripts.
• Experience with Linux kernel builds, ramdisk creation, and booting on emulation platforms.
• Ability to develop Python scripts for image post-processing.
• Understanding of SoC architecture, multi-core environments, bus infrastructure, and low-power modes.
