What you will do
- Evaluate and resolve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting for VMware components.
- Provide hands-on assistance to end users via remote connectivity and collaborative sessions.
- Create scripts to identify, analyze, and correct data issues.
- Advise clients on application functionality, capabilities, and configuration best practices.
- Document remediation steps, test results, and approvals thoroughly.
- Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation and support clients during specific business hours.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States and hold US Citizenship.
- 10+ years of experience across the VMware technology footprint.
- Technical expertise in vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, SRM, and Aria Suite.
- Demonstrable history of solving complex problems across multiple VMware components.
- Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice to have
- Expert knowledge of NSX and Tanzu.
- Experience with Dell VxRail, VCF, Aria Automation, Horizon View, or VMware TKG.
