Team Lead (Java/TypeScript/AWS): Leading a fullstack team to build and scale a new investment mobile app for APAC and Middle East markets with an accent on high-performance backend systems and cloud-native architecture. Location: Must be based in Kraków, Poland (Hybrid: 3 days in office required).

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of 5 engineers using agile practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring, and TypeScript.
• Implement microservices-based solutions using AWS Lambda and ECS containers.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of the platform.
• Manage production quality and provide L3 support.
• Collaborate with product counterparts to deliver on the strategic roadmap.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Kraków, Poland.
• 12+ years of experience in application development.
• Proven track record of leadership and mentoring in an agile environment.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Robust knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful web services.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka for message queuing and streaming.
• Familiarity with Terraform and AWS SAM.
• Experience with TDD and BDD methodologies.
