Fullstack Developer (React/Node.js)

TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (React/Node.js): Building and maintaining real-time collaborative features for the hirify.global platform with an accent on React-based frontend and Node.js backend services. Focus on designing scalable architectures, implementing real-time communication via WebSockets, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance engineering productivity.

Location: Hybrid role, must be based in Poland and able to work from the office at least 3 days per week (Tue-Thu).

What you will do

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and responsive software using modern technologies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and align on priorities.
• Create clear technical documentation and reusable patterns to scale engineering knowledge.
• Leverage AI tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate development and maintain high quality.
• Maintain and support legacy codebases while contributing to new engineering standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations to triage and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and React.
• Solid understanding of system design, API implementation, and data modeling.
• Proficient in English.
• Must be able to work from the office in Poland 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with WebSockets and real-time applications.
• Experience contributing to cross-platform solutions.
