What you will do

• Determine and implement z/OS software upgrade requirements to maintain supported product levels.
• Coordinate major software upgrades across mainframe technical support teams.
• Monitor CPU, memory, and DASD trends to ensure optimal service levels.
• Develop and maintain standards for software infrastructure and program products.
• Act as a final point of escalation for major incidents and implement proactive measures to prevent outages.
• Manage multiple projects, including detailed implementation planning and status reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with z/OS Mainframe VTAM, SNA, APPN, HPR, and TCP/IP.
• 15+ years of related technical experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale computing infrastructure with nearly 8 z/OS LPARs.
• Proficiency in implementing and configuring Connect: Direct and NetView Network Management.
• Understanding of enterprise encryption applications such as TCPIP AT/TLS and SSL/TLS.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
