What you will do

• Oversee environmental compliance during renewable project construction and maintain adherence to permit conditions.
• Develop project-specific environmental compliance programs encompassing all regulatory requirements.
• Perform field audits and prepare technical reports with a strong focus on QA/QC of project documents.
• Collaborate with EPCs and contractors to provide guidance and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
• Track corporate environmental obligations and facilitate handoff to operational compliance teams.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies and mentor junior staff members.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of project management experience with multi-disciplinary environmental compliance projects.
• Detailed knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws, including NEPA, USACE, CWA, and Stormwater regulations.
• Experience in environmental auditing and regulatory audits.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to maneuver in steep grades and muddy field conditions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and geospatial software.
