Technology Risk Manager (Fintech)

Location: Flexible hybrid work in Toronto at 483 Bay Street until approximately late 2026, then at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 139,00–158,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and oversee vendor and third-party risk management programs.
• Identify, assess, and monitor technology risks across the organization.
• Establish and maintain a technology controls assurance framework.
• Develop risk metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to senior stakeholders and committees.
• Promote risk awareness and strengthen risk management capabilities across technology teams.
• Drive improvements to technology risk policies, processes, procedures, and systems.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in information technology risk management.
• Knowledge of change management, change risk, SDLC, technology ecosystems, and systems development and implementation.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, cyber risk, information security, networking, cloud, and application development.
• Experience with supplier or third-party risk management.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CCSP, CISA, or a similar certification.
• Knowledge of financial services products, processes, and industry.
