What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable, high-performance Java services for real-time price streaming.
• Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical designs.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform rigorous code reviews to ensure high quality.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
• Troubleshoot complex performance issues and optimize database and application interactions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within a cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in core Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Deep understanding of JVM internals and object-oriented design patterns.
• Proven experience with RESTful web services and Apache Tomcat.
• Strong commitment to agile methodologies, TDD, BDD, and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience with large-scale applications and mentoring team members.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Kraków, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.
