Model Based Developer Engineer (Aerospace)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Create, modify, and test embedded system and software designs using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Develop engine control laws and perform functional and logical decomposition of systems.
• Convert document-based architectures to model-based architectures.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and review design work for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all designs align with regulatory compliance standards such as DO-178C and DO-330.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• 6+ years of experience with Cameo Systems Modeler for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
• Strong knowledge of turbomachinery, aircraft engines, and standards like DO-178C, DO-331, and ARP 4754.

Nice to have

• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with DOORS or equivalent Requirement Management Systems.
• Knowledge of protocols including CAN, ARINC, RS-422, and Ethernet.
