Team Lead & Embedded Software Engineer – Network Recorders, Lund (Embedded Linux)

Location: Lund, Sweden; onsite at the Axis HQ

What you will do

• Lead the System Products Recorder team and guide its way of working and overall delivery.
• Own, prioritize, refine, and maintain the team backlog.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate delivery across internal development teams, testers, and external partners while tracking timelines and risks.
• Develop and maintain Linux user-space software for network recorders and storage features in AXIS OS using C, Go, and Python.
• Build relationships across the organization and keep information, decisions, and priorities aligned.

Requirements

• Experience developing software in an embedded environment, preferably in Linux user space.
• Experience in a leading or coordinating role such as team lead, agile lead, scrum master, backlog owner, or technical project manager, or a clear interest in taking on such responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly, structure complex work, facilitate discussions, support decisions, and follow through on commitments.

Nice to have

• Experience with C, Go, or Python.
• Interest in software design and architecture.
• Domain knowledge of storage media.
