What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services running in AWS.
• Own system architecture and technical design for large-scale distributed cloud deployments.
• Build and maintain services using Node.js and other backend technologies.
• Work with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query performance optimization.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK and ensure reliable deployments.
• Contribute to frontend (React) and mobile (React Native) applications and deliver end-to-end features.

Requirements

• Location: Must be eligible to work remotely in the U.S. or work on-site in San Diego, CA
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Senior-level experience building cloud-based software systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and cloud architecture.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience writing, testing, and maintaining AWS CDK scripts; strong IP networking knowledge (TCP/IP).
