TL;DR
Salesforce Applications Developer (Salesforce/Apex): Design, build, and maintain custom applications, integrations, and configurations inside Robinhood’s Salesforce environment with an accent on Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and scalable platform performance. Focus on secure Salesforce configuration, incident resolution/on-call reliability, and translating operational business requirements into robust, enterprise-scale solutions.
Location: Toronto, Canada (in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week)
Salary: $93,500 - $110,000 CAD (base pay range for Toronto, ON)

What you will do
- Design and develop Salesforce applications, configurations, and integrations for internal operational systems.
- Build and maintain custom functionality using Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and Visualforce.
- Monitor system reliability and participate in on-call incident resolution.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce technical solutions and integrations.
- Implement and maintain secure Salesforce configurations (permissions, custom objects, validation rules, automation).
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to accelerate Apex, Flows, and Salesforce metadata development while maintaining quality.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience building and maintaining Salesforce environments for enterprise-scale systems.
- Experience developing Salesforce applications using Lightning, Apex, and Visualforce.
- Ability to design, test, debug, package, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions with clear documentation.
- Experience implementing integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration tools (custom objects, flows, validation rules, platform security controls).
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate Salesforce development while maintaining code quality and best practices.
