Junior Payroll Specialist

Junior Payroll Specialist (Finance): Supporting the EMEA Payroll team in processing accurate and timely payroll for assigned countries with an accent on data management and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on developing expertise in payroll regulations, HR operations, and building partnerships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Location: Must be based in Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Process payroll for assigned countries ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Manage employee data changes and finalize time and attendance records.
• Communicate effectively with HR BP, HR operations, finance, and external vendors.
• Manage registration for new employees including insurance and governmental reporting.
• Participate in audits and other payroll-related activities as required.
• Proactively manage workload to meet strict payroll deadlines.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Warsaw, Poland
• English: B2 level minimum (written and spoken)
• Keen interest in pursuing a career in HR Operations.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills with a focus on numerical accuracy.
• Excellent communication and task prioritization skills.
• Self-disciplined with a high level of motivation and initiative.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience in HR Operations (payroll, benefits, taxes).
• Experience with Kronos, Workday, or similar time and attendance systems.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
