TL;DR
Business Analyst – Trade Surveillance (Capital Markets): Defining and delivering data and functional requirements for a trade surveillance platform with an accent on market data structures, trading protocols, and multi-asset data integration. Focus on translating product strategy into specifications, coordinating Agile delivery, and resolving requirements with customers, exchanges, vendors, development, and QA teams.
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office
Salary: €3,600–€4,600 per month, plus short-term incentives and, where applicable, equity

What you will do
- Define, document, and prioritize data and functional requirements for the Trade Surveillance platform across its product lifecycle.
- Translate product strategy into functional specifications, acceptance criteria, user stories, and supporting documentation.
- Lead data integration requirements across multiple asset classes and markets from scoping through release.
- Work with customers, exchanges, and vendors to validate requirements and resolve enhancement and production issues.
- Partner with data specialists, software developers, and QA engineers to assess risks, remove delivery impediments, and align work with product design principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a business or product analyst role within capital markets, financial technology, or a regulated trading environment.
- Strong understanding of market data structures, trading protocols, exchange rules, and equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Experience translating complex business and technical requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and data flow diagrams.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with engineering and product teams.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with trade surveillance, compliance monitoring, or market regulation frameworks such as MiFID II, FINRA, or MAR.
- Experience with large-scale data integration pipelines or market data feeds across multiple asset classes.
- Experience working with global teams and cross-regional clients.
