What you will do

• Design and evolve language extensions, runtimes, and features for portable, high-performance offload.
• Collaborate with the LLVM.org community and internal global teams on compiler standards.
• Optimize compiler performance, reliability, and developer experience from silicon to software.
• Contribute to the development of hirify.global C/C++/DPC++ and Fortran compilers.
• Analyze and improve runtime scheduling and memory models for heterogeneous architectures.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science with 4+ years of experience or MS with 2+ years.
• 4+ years of hands-on compiler development experience with a demonstrated history of contributions to LLVM.org.
• 3+ years of experience with accelerated computing and parallel programming models on GPU architectures.
• 3+ years of experience in compiler or application performance tuning.
• Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ and deep understanding of systems programming.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of modern CPU, GPU, and accelerator architecture.
• Experience analyzing and optimizing language runtimes and memory models.
• Patents or significant technical innovations in compiler technology.
• Demonstrated cross-industry collaboration on language standards.
