What you will do

• Design, analyze, and test complex mechanical parts and assemblies for Video Collaboration Systems.
• Ensure final designs meet quality, cost, reliability, manufacturability, and ESD containment specifications.
• Partner with manufacturing teams and suppliers to optimize designs for volume mass production.
• Manage the development and qualification of plastic tooling, including design debug.
• Collaborate with worldwide functions to ensure seamless product development and resolve ME challenges.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in mechanical design/development of high-volume consumer electronic products.
• Proficiency in Pro/E, AutoCAD, and Ansys simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of plastics, injection molding, assembly processes, and metal punch tool design.
• Advanced knowledge of quality tools such as DFMEA, DFMA, PSS, and tolerance analysis.
• Must be based in or able to work from Hsinchu, Taiwan.
• English: Proficiency in writing, speaking, and presentation skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAE.
• Background in cameras, video conferencing devices, or related consumer electronics.
