What you will do

• Contribute to the full software development cycle across backend, frontend, mobile, and infrastructure.
• Own and maintain user-facing moderation features and global safety products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product Managers, UX designers, and Data Scientists.
• Write clean, testable code following best practices and provide thorough documentation.
• Deliver software components on time while ensuring high quality and performance.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent project work.
• Working knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of CS concepts including algorithms, data structures, and distributed computing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA as the team is located at headquarters.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in the safety or moderation space.
• Familiarity with the tech stack: Golang, Typescript, React, iOS, or Android.
• Experience with AWS technologies such as ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions.
