What you will do

• Manage day-to-day site quality assurance, including surveying and setting out duties.
• Perform quality checks and approvals for forestry roads, foundations, and pile positions.
• Assist site management with health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and verify their setting out works.
• Produce topographical surveys and final project records.
• Oversee reinstatement works and ensure adherence to ISO and OHSAS standards.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work away from home regularly and for prolonged periods.
• Demonstrable industry experience in a similar setting out role.
• Recognised Safety Qualification (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH).
• Proven experience utilising GPS setting out equipment.
• Experience with enabling works, access roads, and foundation construction in power transmission projects.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with third parties such as local councils and environmental agencies.
