PLC/HMI Programmer (SCADA)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and program SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Perform factory testing, startup, and commissioning of control systems.
• Optimize process control loops to improve facility efficiency.
• Coordinate technical requirements with utility staff, contractors, and other engineering firms.
• Provide ongoing customer support, maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
• Support continuous improvement for quality control and programming execution.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of experience in PLC, RTU, SCADA, and HMI programming.
• Must be based in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.
• Proficiency with Modicon M580 and Control Expert.
• Experience with communication protocols including Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and DNP3.

Nice to have

• Experience with Allen-Bradley Control Logix.
• SCADA programming experience with VTScada, AVEVA Intouch, System Platform, FactoryTalk View, Red Lion, or GE Proficy iFix.
• Consulting or System Integrator experience in the Water/Wastewater domain.
• Ability to write control narratives and operator’s manuals.
