EHS Manager (Chemical Plant)

What you will do

• Lead compliance with corporate EHS policies and Singapore safety and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and facilitate internal and external EHS, compliance, and sustainability audits.
• Lead incident and accident investigations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Review environmental test reports and address out-of-control conditions.
• Develop EHS training programs and promote safety awareness and a zero-accident culture.
• Own the EHS management system and documentation, serving as the management representative for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, or a related discipline.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with Singapore MOM, with at least 2 years of experience.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager with the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
• Experience implementing EHS initiatives and improving safety awareness and culture.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation, and licensing requirements under NEA, SCDF, and SPF for chemical industries.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications in occupational safety and health, safety auditing, environmental control, confined-space assessment, incident control, or work-at-height safety.
