TL;DR

AI QA Engineer (ERP): Testing and ensuring the quality of AI-driven enterprise ERP solutions with an accent on API validation, automated test suite development, and non-deterministic AI output verification. Focus on building robust test infrastructure, diagnosing complex system defects, and maintaining regression coverage for agentic workflows.

Location: Hybrid - must be based in or able to work from Selangor or Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

  • Execute manual and automated test cases for API endpoints, UI components, and agent workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python-based frameworks.
  • Validate AI agent outputs against defined accuracy thresholds and evaluation criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track defects while working with developers to diagnose root causes.
  • Maintain test automation infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized test environments.
  • Perform regression testing and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of QA engineering experience with hands-on test automation.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Python for test scripting and automation.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks like Pytest, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Strong background in API testing, contract testing, and schema validation.
  • Experience with Docker, SQL, and Git version control.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Selangor or Penang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

  • Experience testing AI/ML outputs or non-deterministic systems.
  • Familiarity with Angular web applications.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter, Locust, or k6.
  • Experience with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or Grafana.
  • ISTQB Foundation or similar certification.
