TL;DR

Lead DevOps Engineer (Fintech): Leading the design, automation, and evolution of cloud-based platforms and infrastructure with an accent on CI/CD, security, and observability. Focus on driving complex mid-to-large scale initiatives, establishing infrastructure-as-code standards, and mentoring engineering teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.

Location: Manila (Hybrid: 2 days per week in office required).

What you will do

  • Lead the design and evolution of cloud platform architecture and DevOps practices within a product area.
  • Drive complex, mid- to large-scale initiatives from concept to implementation and operation.
  • Define and maintain standards for infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex incidents, conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Mentor senior and junior engineers, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading DevOps or cloud platform engineering initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD pipeline design.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and observability practices.
  • Ability to make informed trade-offs between reliability, performance, security, and cost.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management.
