TL;DR

Technical Lead - Cloud Engineer (Fintech): Acting as the technical subject matter expert for reliability and DevOps practices across a high-transaction fintech platform with an accent on infrastructure automation, production operations, and reliability engineering. Focus on leading incident response, mentoring a small SRE team, and driving architectural decisions for AWS-based cloud infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid (Makati City, Philippines), requiring onsite presence 4 times per month.

What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automation scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead response to high-severity incidents and facilitate root cause analysis.
  • Define and evolve standards for observability, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Mentor and guide SRE team members while delegating tasks based on risk and complexity.
  • Act as the technical authority for SRE and DevOps practices across the platform.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or Bash scripting and SQL.
  • Extensive background in incident response and on-call operations.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Makati City with specific shift requirements.

Nice to have

  • AWS, Kubernetes, or Kafka certifications.
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Background in high-transaction or customer-facing systems.
