What you will do

• Ensure accurate and timely filing and payment of payroll taxes.
• Serve as the primary contact for tax agencies and outsourced tax providers.
• Perform payroll tax reconciliations, including SUI and quarterly filings.
• Research and resolve tax discrepancies, notices, and payment issues.
• Support accounting activities, financial reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to improve payroll processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll tax, payroll accounting, or financial analysis.
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and US GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Experience managing multi-state payroll tax compliance.
• Experience working directly with tax agencies and resolving tax notices.
• Knowledge of payroll tax filing platforms.
• Experience supporting audits and SOX controls.
