Salary: $150,000–$185,000

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the architecture and delivery of CDS data transformation systems.
• Define and enforce schema design, validation, and data integrity standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with program management and government stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Oversee planning, estimation, and execution of development tasks in Agile cycles.
• Ensure correctness, validation, and traceability of data across system boundaries.

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role
• Strong experience with modern programming languages (Python, Java, or C++)
• Experience designing systems that process structured data formats (XML, JSON, etc.)

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Experience supporting DoD or government software programs
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and RMF-related engineering
• Experience with GitLab and Atlassian toolsets
