Government Relations / Stakeholder Engagement Representative (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Point Pleasant, West Virginia, United States; based in or willing to relocate to Charleston, West Virginia, with frequent travel to Mason County and other parts of the state.

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Lead engagement with the West Virginia Governor's office, executive cabinet, senior state agencies, and elected officials.
• Manage Nscale's legislative agenda across the West Virginia House and Senate, including monitoring, advocacy, and engagement.
• Build relationships with the West Virginia Public Service Commission, WVDEP, Department of Economic Development, and other relevant agencies.
• Represent Nscale in energy, data center, and AI infrastructure trade associations and policy coalitions.
• Develop and execute West Virginia policy strategy with project leadership, community engagement, legal, and communications stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with West Virginia lobbying registration, gift, and disclosure rules.

Requirements

• Based in or willing to relocate to Charleston, West Virginia, with frequent travel within the state.
• 10+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or political and legislative roles.
• Established relationships across the West Virginia Legislature, executive branch, and key state agencies.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging elected officials, community members, and media.
• Demonstrated ability to build durable, trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• High integrity and sound political judgment.
