What you will do

• Set up CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment based on blueprints and job specifications.
• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, collets, and work-holding devices.
• Set and verify work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters.
• Perform first-piece inspections in coordination with the Quality Assurance team.
• Troubleshoot issues related to tooling wear, fixtures, and machine operation.
• Support CNC operators with machine adjustments and ensure consistent production runs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience setting up CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines.
• Proficiency with precision tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of safety standards.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift (9pm – 5:30am) on-site in Franklin, NH.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of CNC setup experience in a production environment.
• Experience diagnosing and replacing worn tooling.
• Knowledge of Lean/continuous improvement practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
