What you will do

• Conduct detailed pre-billing reviews for home health and hospice agencies to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Identify documentation discrepancies, missing information, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide education to clinical leaders based on findings to prevent recurrence of documentation issues.
• Ensure all clinical records accurately reflect patient status and care provided in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify clinical documentation and obtain necessary additional information.
• Recommend improvements to policies and procedures to enhance overall documentation quality.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or related licensure highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of industry-related experience in Home Health and/or Hospice environments.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Proficiency with HCHB, PDF-Xchange, Excel, and Smartsheet.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
