What you will do

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Java-based automated test suites using Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Lead deep-dive troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis for complex, system-level failures in high-throughput environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality and testability are baked into software design from the start.
• Design and execute complex test plans for distributed data flow systems capable of running in air-gapped or public cloud environments.
• Own the Testing & Quality Assurance domain for the CDF platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in Budapest, Hungary with no requirement for sponsorship or relocation.
• Professional proficiency in English for documentation and collaboration.
• Strong Java programming skills with experience in distributed systems.
• Mastery of Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration.
• Proven track record in designing complex test plans and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience developing and debugging software in Linux environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache NiFi or similar data flow management engines.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
• Hands-on experience with Python.
