What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs using WebdriverIO, Mocha, and TypeScript.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, database logic, and service integrations.
• Analyze business requirements to prepare test cases, regression scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Validate frontend, backend, and middleware components within a microservice-based architecture.
• Test media-specific workflows including asset management, large file processing, and rights management.
• Participate in CI/CD quality checks and release validation across multiple environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Software QA.
• English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
• German proficiency: Advanced (C1) or higher.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and test automation.
• Experience with API testing, database validation, and CI/CD processes.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with Java or Go.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of messaging technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience in broadcasting, streaming, or media asset management systems.
