What you will do

• Own and develop CAD automation infrastructure and workflows to support design teams.
• Implement Python-based automation tools for design flows and data processing.
• Standardize project setup, directory structures, and environment configurations.
• Integrate and customize EDA tools to meet specific design requirements.
• Develop and maintain regression and validation frameworks for flows and tools.
• Collaborate with IT and EDA vendors to optimize infrastructure and resolve tool issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 7+ years of experience in CAD, design automation, or EDA tools development in a production environment.
• Strong Python programming skills with a track record of building production-quality tools.
• Fluency in Linux and command-line environments.
• Experience with revision control systems like Git or Perforce.
• Solid understanding of IC design flows and EDA tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with SKILL, Tcl, or shell scripting for EDA flow customization.
• Hands-on experience with Cadence design environments.
• Familiarity with job scheduling systems like LSF.
• Background in supporting analog or mixed-signal design teams.
