TL;DR

Senior Customer Success Specialist (Tax & Accounting): Managing post-sale customer relationships for tax and accounting software solutions with an accent on driving adoption, retention, and measurable business value. Focus on proactive health management, facilitating executive business reviews, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to ensure customer success throughout the full lifecycle.

Location: Must be based in Coppell, TX (Onsite)

Salary: $71,300 - $124,500 USD

What you will do

  • Lead outcome-focused customer onboarding and define success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain Customer Success Plans to guide ongoing engagement.
  • Monitor customer health, identify churn risks, and initiate data-driven interventions.
  • Facilitate Executive Business Reviews to assess value realization and align future priorities.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Support, and Product teams to represent the customer voice.
  • Drive renewal readiness and identify expansion opportunities within the assigned portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (Customer Success, Account Management, Consulting, or Implementation).
  • Proven experience managing post-sales relationships in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret usage and health data.
  • Ability to manage complex customer situations independently.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Coppell, TX.

Nice to have

  • Foundational knowledge of Tax and Accounting concepts (Audit, Tax, CPA firms).
  • Experience with Salesforce or Certinia.
  • Formal Customer Success or account management certifications.
  • CPA certification.
